Financial Report. John reported that the Council has $363.09 of unrestricted funds in its account, plus approximately $1400 restricted for use on specified projects. The members present paid their dues for the upcoming year, and the board discussed how to increase revenue membership. John agreed to report to the board next month on possible ways to increase revenue.

School Map Project. Jean presented a draft form of map of the watershed she has created, working from the map Joe Honton produced several years ago. Jean and John reported that 20" by 30" size color copies of the poster can be printed at a cost of $7.50 each. It is proposed to print 150 copies of the poster, to donate copies to each school in the watershed, and to seek to sell the remaining copies. Jean agreed to submit a grant request to the County Fish and Wildlife Commission for a grant to do the printing. The board approved a deposit of $300 to be advanced to the local printer from the Council's restricted use fund.

Farm Tours. Bob reported that Paul Kaiser of Singing Frogs Farm is desirous of hosting another tour of his farm in early September. Bob offered to organize such a tour on either the first weekend of September or the last weekend of August, subject to Paul's availability. Bob will coordinate with CAFF, and the board authorized the expenditure of up to $20 for refreshments at the tour.

Fall Creek Cleanup. Jean and Jo will coordinate our annual cleanup of the Graton "critch" and nearby streets and waterways on the morning of Saturday, October 24, with help from fifth grade students of Oak Grove school and community volunteers. John reported that other schools in our watershed have expressed interest in participating in similar cleanups near their school. There was discussion regarding expanding our cleanup to include other areas and other schools in the watershed.

PRMD Permits. John reported on his monitoring of permits issued by PRMD for properties in the watershed. There was discussion about the distinction between Class I and Class II wells, which Jo agreed to investigate.

The meeting adjourned at 12:10

Respectfully submitted,

Bob Burke
